by stopping spammers, nuisances and other lowlifes from annoying you.
The simplest way is to get an special
email account just for penpal
and other web surfing purposes (Hotmail or Yahoo are ideal).
That way you reserve your real email address for your
family, closest friends
and most trusted associates, and you use your
second
Hotmail or Yahoo address for all other purposes.
In the comments section of your ad mention your
special email address so
that people
can send replies to you direct to your mailbox.
Note: when you reply to them, if you reply through your regular email
service,
the recipient will be able to read your real email address. So to maintain your
confidentiality, you should always send replies through your 2nd mail service
(the special one we recommended you set up).
The 2nd way is to use our built in Confidential Email System.
This only allows registered members to
reply to you and they have to
input a Username and password to access the system.
Because it is built in, replies are automatically sent to the email
address you registered when you joined us.
If you receive a reply by this method,
the only way you can send an
answer if for you to login with your ID and password.
